5"Documented by David Arthur". Text From Source: Joyce YELLAND says that she has spoken to a young boy in Pontsbury who reckons that he delivered newspapers to two unmarried sisters called YELLAND. These two ladies may be sisters of Charles.
Charles went to boarding school at Welshpool. He moved to Kirkdale in Liverpool and then retired to Melling.

Charles may have died very young, even as a baby. Could have been the eldest child of the family.
Email received from Fay Pascoe 25 January 2001
Dear David
Seems a bit late for a reply - just 10 or so months! My main reason for
contacting you is that I have just obtained the birth certificate of Charles
Nathan Yelland , born 27 June 1888 in Kirkdale West derby, son of Elizabeth
Yelland nee Simpson and C J Yelland Cowkeeper - and looking back in the
notes he is obviously 'yours'. There MUST be a relationship here because one of my great uncles, Richard Charles Yelland was in the fire service in Kirkdale by 1900. Charles Nathan died at about six years old as you probably know. anyway, if you would like this certificate, you are welcome to have it - it is no use to me ( I was just being hopeful, when I sent for it)
I am getting on quite well with my Liverpool Yellands - great grandfather
fought inthe Crimea as part of the Naval brigade - though I must confess to
having employed a researcher. ( I already knew he was the Fire Salvage
Superintendent in Liverpool)
